Following the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, Mahasakthi Welfare Society (MWS) extended its support by mobilizing relief funds for affected communities.
A contribution of ₹12,000 was handed over to Mr. Sunil Paliwal, IAS, District Collector of Theni, on 02 May 2005 towards the Nagapattinam Tsunami Relief Fund.
